This Cookies Policy defines the rules for storing and accessing information via Cookies on the devices of the User using the Website in the domain sekosa.pl, administered by SEKO SPÓŁKA AKCYJNA with its registered office in Chojnice (registered office and delivery address: ul. I. DEFINITIONS

  1. Administrator - the company Seko S.A., which stores and gains access to information on the User's devices via cookies.
  2. Cookies - means IT data, in particular small text files, saved and stored on devices through which the User uses the Website's pages.
  3. Cookies Administrator's - means Cookies placed by the Administrator, related
    to the provision of services electronically by the Administrator via the Website.
  4. External Cookies - means Cookies placed by the Administrator's partners via the Website.
  5. Serwis - means the website or application under which the Administrator runs the website, operating in the domain sekosa.pl
  6. Urządzenie - means an electronic device through which the User gains access to the Website.
  7. Użytkownik - means any natural person using the Website.
     

II. TYPES OF COOKIES USED

  1. Cookies used by the Administrator are safe for the User's Device.
    In particular, it is not possible for viruses or other unwanted or malicious software to penetrate Users' Devices this way. These files allow the identification of the software used by the User and customize the Website individually for each User. Cookies usually contain the name of the domain they come from, their storage time on the Device, and an assigned value.
  2. Due to the necessity to perform the service, Seko S.A. uses 3 types of cookies:
    1. Necessary - absolutely essential for the proper functioning of the website or functionalities that the user wants to use. 
    2. Analytical - also known as statistical cookies - collect information on how often the website is visited and how it is used. This aggregated and anonymous information is used to improve the content and performance of the website – this is not possible without consent.
    3. Advertising - also known as marketing cookies - allow for displaying advertisements tailored to the profile of the user visiting the website. Based on the browsing history, profiles are built and shared with advertising partners so that personalized ads are displayed on other sites.
  3. Detailed retention periods for cookies are indicated in the cookie management panel (Cookie Banner).
  4. Due to the time for which a cookie will be placed on the user's end device:
    1. Session cookies - temporary files that remain in the memory of the User's browser until leaving the website sekosa.pl – they are mandatory for the correct operation of selected applications and the correct display of the website's content. The mechanism of session cookies does not allow for collecting any personal data or any confidential information from the User's Device.
    2. Persistent cookies - used to make the site more attractive to the User, e.g., to remember user preferences when using the site or to display personalized advertisements; they are not deleted after closing the browser and are stored on the user's device between sessions.   5. The User has the option to restrict or disable cookies access to their Device. If you use this option, use of the Website will be possible, except for functions which by their nature require cookies.

III. PURPOSES FOR WHICH COOKIES ARE USED

  1. The Administrator uses Cookies for the following purposes:
    1. Website configuration:
      • adjusting the content of the Website's pages to the User's preferences and optimizing the use of the Website's pages;
      • recognizing the Website User's device and its location and properly displaying the website tailored to their individual needs;
      • facilitating the browsing of website resources during subsequent visits;
      • remembering the settings selected by the User and personalizing the User's interface, e.g., in terms of the selected language or region from which the User comes.
    2. User authentication on the website:
      • ensuring the security of electronic services, including maintaining the Website User's session after logging in and recognizing the person using it during the next session,
      • correct configuration of selected functions of the Website, enabling in particular the verification of the authenticity of the browser session,
      • optimizing and increasing the efficiency of services provided by the Administrator;
    3. carrying out processes necessary for the full functionality of websites, including creating aggregated statistics to improve the functionality, structure, and content of the website;
    4. analyses, research, and audience audit – creating anonymous statistics that help understand how Website Users use the Website's pages, which allows for improving their structure and content.

 

IV. POSSIBILITIES OF DETERMINING THE CONDITIONS OF STORAGE OR GAINING ACCESS BY COOKIES

  1. Default settings of browsers allow for the storage of Cookies.
  2. The User may independently and at any time change the settings regarding Cookies, specifying the conditions for their storage and gaining access by Cookies to the User's Device.
  3. The User may change the settings referred to in the previous sentence using the internet browser settings (commonly used: Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Opera, Safari) or via the service configuration. These settings can be changed in particular to block the automatic handling of cookies in the web browser settings or to inform about each placement of Cookies on the User's device.
  4. Detailed information on the possibilities and ways of handling cookies is available in the software (web browser) settings.
  5. The User may at any time delete Cookies using the functions available in the web browser they use.
  6. Restricting the use of or blocking Cookies may affect some functionalities available on the Website.
  7. Cookies saved on the User's end device may be used by trusted entities cooperating with Seko S.A.
